Last night was my annual Girls Night Out at the So You Think You Can Dance concert tour, and as usual it was a great night of performances!! I went with my friends Hilary MacIsaac, Caroline McNeely and Leslie Finger, and we enjoyed our annual tradition as much as ever!! I am including a few pictures I took at the show, but since my camera is a POC they aren't great, and don't do justice to the FANTASTIC seats we had this year!! Everytime I go to the concert it makes me miss my old dancing days, but I do love that dancing shows have made such a comeback in the last few years thanks to reality tv shows like Dancing With the Stars and SYTYCD, always great entertainment!!

Happy First Gameday Weekend!!
So this weekend was the first Auburn football game of the season, War Damn Eagle!! Needless to say, Jason was VERY happy on Saturday, as was I! We had a fabulous night watching the game, eating and drinking over at our friend Tommy's parents house with Tommy, Kate, Amanda and Jason along with some of Kate and Tommy's friends. Thanks for having us yall!! But I was definitly most excited to spend some time with my favorite Roomie, Amanda. I always look forward to our visits, especially since they are few and far between with her and Jason living up in Chicago. But I am looking forward to being a part of their wedding in a couple months!
Luckily, this next week will be my last week only working 2 days a week. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE only working part-time, but it can definitly get kinda boring just sitting around the house some days. But now that the weather has been cooling off I have enjoyed taking some daily walks around the neighborhood. We live in the BEST neighborhood and we have a ton of walking trails and sidewalks so I definitly enjoy my daily walks!
Anyhoodle, that's all for now!!

A Little Bit About Us...
So for my 2nd post I thought I would tell a little bit about us. I won't go too far back b/c that's a lot of years (30 to be exact, we are getting old!!)
Jason and I met in college at Auburn University, during his senior year and what my dad refers to as my "victory lap" aka my 2nd senior year. :) Ironically, we had a bunch of mutual friends all throughout college, but didn't meet until the fall of 2002 through some of my sorority sisters. We started dating and 3 1/2 years later got engaged right before Jason left for New Haven, CT to begin grad school at Yale University Medical School in the Physician Associate program. A year later we were married on August 25, 2007 and 2 days after that I moved up to CT with him while he finished school.
In December 2008, Jason graduated and we moved back to Atlanta with our first "kid", our cat Hamden, and in with my parents while we saved up to buy a house. In June 2009 we bought our first house and a few months later adopted our 2nd "baby", a sweet kitten we named Bella.
That's all for now!!
